How does delivery work?
Your outfit will be shipped the day before your hire start date using the delivery option you selected at checkout (Tracked 24 or Special Delivery). You’ll receive tracking details by email. Please ensure someone is available to sign for delivery.
What if I return my outfit late?
A £25 late fee applies for each day overdue. If not returned within 2 days after the due date, it will be treated as lost or stolen and charged at 150% of the retail price.
What if my outfit is damaged?
Please contact us immediately. Minor repairs and cleaning are covered by us. If you have taken out damage protection If the item is damaged beyond repair, you’ll be liable for the retail or replacement cost.
Can I cancel or change my order?
For hires placed from 1st May 2025, no refunds or credits are offered for cancellations. Exchanges may be arranged with at least 2 weeks’ notice before your event, subject to availability.
How long can I hire for?
Standard hire is 4 days (Day 1 receive, Day 2 wear, Day 3 return, Day 4 back in store). Longer hires such as 8 day holiday rentals are available - please contact us in advance.
How do I return my outfit?
You can return in person to our Cowbridge store (on Sunday's only) or our Bridgend HQ from Monday onwards, any returns in person are free. You can also return by post if you have paid for returns postage. We will include a prepaid returns label within your order. Please ensure your parcel is scanned at the Post Office before the daily cutoff to avoid late fees.
What if I’m unhappy with my order?
Email customerservice@minniemay.co.uk with photos and details. We keep time-stamped photos of each order at pack time for quality control and will work with you to resolve the issue.
Can I try on items before hiring?
Yes, appointments are available at our Cowbridge store. Book a styling session with our team to try on items before you hire.
Boutique & Jewellery
Can I return Boutique or Jewellery items?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery for exchange or credit note. Items must be unworn, in original condition, with tags and packaging intact. Earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are usually dispatched within 2 working days via Royal Mail Tracked 24. Delivery is typically 1–3 working days.

Where are you based?
Our HQ is in Bridgend (CF31 1DU), and our boutique is located in Cowbridge (CF71 7AE). Hire UK visits are by appointment only, our boutique is open to the public for browsingduring store hours, no appointment needed.

Yes, our Behind the Seams team offers a professional alteration service at our Bridgend HQ. Book via Fresha to ensure your outfit fits perfectly.
