Interpretations / Definitions

• We, our, us – Minnie May Closet (registered in England and Wales, company number 13434522).
• Site – www.minniemaycloset.co.uk
• You – a visitor or customer of the Site.
• Account – the account you create if you register with the Site.
• Content – any text, graphics, images, audio, video, software, data compilations or other information stored on the Site.
• Regulations – the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
• User – any person, firm, or company using the Site for any purpose.

Introduction

Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”, “T&Cs”) carefully before using the Site. Your access to and use of the Site is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Site, and each time you visit the Site. We assume that you have read them before using the Site or the services we offer.

We reserve the right to make changes to these T&Cs at any point without notice. We do not guarantee that the Site, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict access to all or any part of our Site for business or operational reasons, but will try to give reasonable notice of any suspension.

You are responsible for ensuring that all persons accessing our Site through your connection are aware of these Terms and comply with them. We recommend printing a copy of these Terms for future reference. By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the Site.

• You will only have one Account with us;
• All information you submit is accurate and truthful and kept up-to-date;
• You will keep your Account details confidential;
• You will not give your username or password to anyone else;
• Log off when exiting the Site;
• Your username will not be offensive, misrepresentative, or suggest a trade/brand name. We may change it if it violates this term.

Accounts may be closed if Terms are broken or inactive for 12 months. Fraudulent activity may be reported to the Police, and any pending payments may be held or returned to cover costs.

Failure to authenticate email addresses or block service emails may result in account termination.

These are the rental terms on which we supply products to you. Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order. They explain who we are, how we provide products, and your obligations. If you believe there is a mistake, please contact customerservice@minniemay.co.uk

By placing an order on minniemaycloset.co.uk, you agree to these rental terms. You are liable for all fines under this contract. Acceptance occurs when we email confirmation, and a contract exists between you and us. An order number will be provided.

If we cannot accept your order (e.g., out of stock, pricing error, resource limits), we will inform you and not charge you. We only rent to and deliver within the UK.

Product images are illustrative. Colours may vary due to device displays. Actual products may differ slightly from images.

Delivery costs are displayed at checkout. A delivery fee applies per unique delivery date. We use Royal Mail; delivery times are estimates. Users must accept delivery unless prior non-delivery agreement is made. We are not responsible for delays outside our control.

Collection & Delivery of HIREUK Rentals (Online & In-Store)

Customers may collect rentals from:

• Cowbridge Store: 23b High Street, Cowbridge, CF71 7AE
• Bridgend HQ: 2nd Floor, 20 Nolton Street, Bridgend, CF31 1DU

Alternatively, rental orders are dispatched the day before the hire start date via the chosen postal method. All rentals are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 unless upgraded postage is paid for (Special Delivery by 1pm or 9am).

While we aim to deliver by the hire start date, we are not responsible for postal delays or errors once dispatched. Tracking info will be provided prior to dispatch.

Under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and Consumer Rights Act 2015, once items are dispatched in good time via the selected service, Minnie May Closet is not liable for courier delay, industrial action, or service interruptions beyond our control.

We recommend selecting a hire start date at least 1–2 days before use to account for postal delays.

The rental period starts when the User (or nominated third party) receives the items and ends when returned to a Royal Mail Post Office. Minimum 4-day rental applies. Late returns incur 50% per day; items not returned within 2 days after the return date are charged 150% of retail price.

Users are responsible for loss or damage beyond repair. Liability remains even if not personally responsible. Replacement value considers demand, purchase cost, condition, and rental fee.

To cancel or change orders, use our Returns Portal. HIREUK orders are credit-note only. Cancel 2+ weeks before hire = full credit; within 1 week = 75% credit.

Minnie May may cancel if items not returned/damaged or concerns about suitability (frequent late returns, theft, damage).

Contact customerservice@minniemay.co.uk for issues. Exchanges must be returned within 24 hours in pre-paid packaging. Differences in costs or delivery fees may apply. Rental credit only applies to unworn items; no monetary refund.

Prices displayed at order time. Reasonable efforts made to ensure accuracy. If correct price is lower, we charge lower. If higher, we contact you.

Pre-loved items are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.

Personal information is used as per our Privacy & Cookie Policy.

• Images may not represent exact fit or colour.
• Check garment on delivery and notify us of issues.
• Do not alter or clean garments yourself.
• Follow all instructions provided; treat items respectfully.

We may transfer rights or obligations. Delay in enforcement does not waive our rights. Governed by English law; legal proceedings in English courts.
